Panther at LOLW

Today in the morning I had another flying lesson. When I got to the apron to prepare the plane, I immediately spotted a gray/green Panther. But first things first, I got to the plane and did the outside check and prepared it for the flight. When I then had a briefing I saw a second vehicle driving fast on the taxiway. I acted like a child and called “Oh wow there is a second one!”.

Then we did the flying lesson. It was the usual traffic pattern stuff, so that I get used to it and to learn landing the plane in a smooth way. After that we landed and taxied to the apron. I early recognized, that something had changed. Now two red Panther’s were standing at the apron. So we decided to take a look at them.

Then I found out, that Rosenbauer often comes to the aerodrome in Wels to test their new vehicles. Their factory is only a few kilometers away and here they have enough space to drive them really fast.

The Panther is a very famous fire truck and used all over the world. I like them because they look fancy and have a lot of technical stuff inside of them. It was a pleasure to take a seat in one of them.
